A mailer recently sent by the Hernandez campaign aimed to remind the taxpayers to stay vigilant and vote for a candidate with a proven track record when it comes to fighting for small government and fiscal responsibility. The mailer was sent following the anniversary of Prop 1, a $2 Billion tax increase placed on the ballot by Lansing legislators and special interest groups, and highlighted Shane's work to help defeat the proposal. The budget continues to go up year after year and there is constant talk of tax increases coming from Lansing. The 83rd District needs a candidate willing to fight for small government and fiscal responsibility, even when it means going up against their own party.
